How to join the lab

Undergraduates: If you are interested in joining the lab as an undergraduate researcher, send me your resume, an (unofficial) transcript of classes and grades, and a brief statement of interest (no more than 1 page) that tells me about your goals and interests. These documents should be compiled into a single PDF titled as your last name. We will assess your fit to ongoing projects and let you know if there’s a project you can join.

Graduate students: If you want to apply to do a MSc or PhD with me, send me (1) your CV, (2) an (unofficial) transcript of classes and grades, (3) 3 contacts for recommendation letters, and (4) a concise and clear statement of interest (less than 1 page) that tells me about your career goals and research interests (stated as questions), why you’re interested in my lab, and why you might be a good fit for the lab. Feel free to discuss possible research projects if you have them in mind. Feel free to discuss other lab you’re interested in. Grad school applications for Ohio State are November 15, and best time to contact me would be June to October, but feel free to reach out anytime.

Postdocs: Send me your CV, your most relevant paper or preprint, and a concise research proposal describing one or more projects or papers you think we could work on together.
